1. Who We Are & Acceptance of Terms
Human Development Training is a commercial brand operated by Connecting Humans Inc., a legal entity organized under the laws of Ontario, Canada (“Connecting Humans Inc.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website hosted on Wix, and any training, coaching, mentoring, educational programs, digital content, or related services offered under the Human Development Training brand (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing the website, registering for Services, making a payment, or participating in any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or Services.
2. Nature of Services
The Services provided under the Human Development Training brand consist of training, coaching, mentoring, and educational services only.
The Services:

Do not constitute therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medical treatment, mental health care, or legal advice

Do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical or psychological condition

Do not create a legally privileged or confidential relationship comparable to medical or legal professions
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from your participation in the Services.
3. Training, Coaching, Mentoring Relationship & Client Responsibility
Training, Coaching, Mentoring is a professional partnership designed to support personal, professional, or business development.
You acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being

You are responsible for implementing your own decisions, choices, actions, and results

The Coach, Trainer, Facilitator is not responsible or liable for any actions or inactions taken by you
Training, Coaching, Mentoring is a comprehensive process that may address multiple areas of life. How you apply training, coaching, mentoring principles remains exclusively your responsibility.
4. Eligibility & User Obligations
By using the Services, you represent that:

You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)

You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

You will provide accurate and complete information

You will communicate honestly, participate fully, and respect professional boundaries
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access to the Services at our discretion where permitted by law.
5. Code of Conduct
By enrolling in or participating in any program, training, coaching, mentoring session, or related activity offered through this website (including live sessions, group calls, chats, forums, or other interactive features), you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.
Our goal is to foster a respectful, inclusive, and effective learning environment for all participants, instructors, and staff.
Expected Standards of Behavior
Participants are expected to:

Treat all individuals with respect, professionalism, and courtesy, regardless of background, opinions, or identity.

Engage honestly and constructively in discussions, learning activities, and collaborative spaces.

Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment free from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or harmful behavior.

Take responsibility for their own actions, communications, and conduct throughout the program.

Respect the learning experience by minimizing distractions and using electronic devices only when relevant to the session or during designated breaks.

Come prepared by completing any required readings, assessments, or preparatory work communicated in advance.

Attend scheduled sessions in full where attendance is required, acknowledging that partial attendance or absence may affect learning outcomes or participation in program activities.

Participate in the language(s) used for the program (English and/or French) to a level sufficient to engage meaningfully in spoken and written interactions.
Prohibited Conduct
Participants may not:

Post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise harmful to others.

Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights of instructors, staff, or other participants.

Share, distribute, reproduce, or sell course materials, session recordings, or other proprietary content without explicit authorization.

Use contact information obtained through the program for unsolicited marketing, promotions, or commercial purposes.

Submit work that is not their own or improperly share solutions, assignments, or assessments unless explicitly permitted by the instructor.
Privacy, Recordings, and Media
Participants must respect the privacy of others at all times. Where sessions are recorded or photographs are taken as part of the program, participation may imply visibility in such materials. Additional consent or media release authorization may be requested separately where required.
Enforcement
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in corrective actions, which may include removal from a session, restricted access to program features, suspension, or termination of participation without refund, at our discretion.
6. Programs, Scheduling & Availability
Training, Coaching, Mentoring programs, session formats, durations, and availability are described on the website or agreed upon separately.

We reserve the right to modify programs, schedules, or delivery formats where reasonably necessary.
7. Fees, Payments & Refund Policy
Fees for Services are disclosed on the website or agreed upon in writing.

Refund Policy
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, all sales are final. Refunds are issued only in exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion. No refund will be issued for sessions that have been paid for and scheduled.
8. Cancellations, No-Shows & Late Arrivals

You are responsible for notifying us of cancellations at least 72 hours in advance

Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice or no-shows may be charged in full
-
If you arrive late, sessions will still end at the scheduled time
-
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be deemed cancelled and is non-refundable
We may, at our discretion, attempt to reschedule a missed session once.
9. Confidentiality & Ethical Standards
We adhere to the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.
Information shared during training, coaching, mentoring is treated as confidential in accordance with professional ethics. However, you acknowledge that:

The training, coaching, mentoring relationship is not legally privileged

Communications are not protected by medical or legal confidentiality laws
We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or where there is a reasonable belief of imminent risk of harm or illegal activity.
10. Recordings, Notes & Record Retention
Sessions may be recorded. Notes, recordings, transcripts, and related materials may be created and stored in digital or other formats.

Records may be retained or deleted at the discretion of Connecting Humans Inc., subject to legal obligations

Upon written request, we may share or delete records where feasible

Once records are shared, any use or disclosure is your responsibility
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from misuse of shared records.
11. Intellectual Property
All content provided as part of the Services, including but not limited to recordings, slides, documents, exercises, frameworks, and written materials, is owned by Connecting Humans Inc. or licensed to it.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal use only.
You may not:

Share, reproduce, distribute, or sell content

Record sessions without permission

Provide access to third parties
Violation may result in termination of access and legal action.
12. No Guarantees
We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding outcomes or results of the Services.
Individual results vary and depend on multiple factors outside our control.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability.
14. Termination
Either you or Connecting Humans Inc. may terminate participation in the Services at any time, subject to applicable notice requirements.
You remain responsible for payment for Services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
15. Third-Party Services
The website and Services may include third-party platforms or tools (e.g., video conferencing, payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party services or their practices.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by law.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable Training, Coaching, Mentoring Agreement and incorporated policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Connecting Humans Inc. regarding use of the Services.
18. Severability & Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver.
